Truth Concerning the Confederate Battle Flag
Pastor John Weaver is the Past Chaplain in Chief for the Sons of Confederate Veterans and is a renowned
historian. He has spent his life spreading the good news of Jesus Christ and defending the Confederate Soldier. He has done extensive research on the
Christian and Celtic origins of the Confederate Battle Flag (Southern Cross). His sermon gives the historical facts on why the Confederate Army chose this
symbol of Southern Valor and Patriotism in the field of battle. Pastor Weaver also gives historical details on why the Southern Soldier and People were
fighting a war against tyranny and invasion.

Why we commemorate
During the 150th Anniversary of the War Between the States (Sesquicentennial) the Georgia Division published over 200,000 “Why we Commemorate” pamphlets
for distribution. This pamphlet gives the reasons why the Citizens of the Southern States declared their independence and why we should always commemorate
their valor, hardship and sacrifices they made to protect their families and homes from invasion.\n\n\nAndersonville Prison and Captain Henry Wirz
Trial
This 65-page book written in 1921 by Georgia Division United Daughters of the Confederacy historian Mildred Lewis Rutherford gives facts about
Andersonville Prison and Capt. Henry Wirz’ Trial in Washington D.C. Several historians have called the trial a “national disgrace.” The book mentions
how the Yankees cut off Capt. Wirz’ head, arms, and legs and exhibited them. The book is a very informative source of information about Andersonville
Prison and the Trial of Capt. Henry Wirz that everyone interested in the War Between the States history should read.\n\nTo order your copies of

from the Southern view. Unlike most modern history books, Hollywood films, and television programs, “The Other Side of the Coin” gives the unrevised
version of history as presented by our Southern ancestors, including the Confederate soldiers to whom the Sons of Confederate Veterans is pledged to
present their case for all future generations of Americans who wish to know the truth about the Southern Cause to examine for themselves. The entire
